Artist Spotlight in the ISGB publication "Glass Bead Evolution"!

I have the honor of being in the Artist Spotlight for Volume 2 - Issue 4 of the Glass Bead Evolution publication!  This is a publication produced by the International Society of Glass Beadmakers, and this issue focused on glass artists who also create art in fiber.  That's my felted vessel embellished with my glass bead on the magazine cover.  I shared this honor with my friend, the uber-talented Jennifer Field.  Jennifer and I have a few things in common - she and I are both glass and fiber artists, we are both musicians, and we both have Papillons.  Jennifer is "owned" by Dewey, and I am "owned" by Daisy.  Unfortunately, we live clear across the country from each other, so Dewey and Daisy have never met.  One thing that Jennifer and I do NOT have in common is that she plays the ukulele and I do not.  I spent many years playing keyboards, but I've been seriously thinking about rectifying this.  Perhaps this will be the year that I learn to play the uke.
